Chargers Injury Report: Latest On Justin Herbert's Broken Finger Vs Lions
Your Los Angeles Chargers' most important player, 2021 Pro Bowl quarterback Justin Herbert, is wearing a wrap around his fractured left hand that's slightly smaller than it had been across LA's past two contests (both wins), reports Daniel Popper of The Athletic.
Popper notes that just Herbert's middle finger is taped, a downgrade from the lengthier coverage he had been wearing in dominant victories over the New York Jets and Chicago Bears that returned Los Angeles to a .500 record at 4-4.
For the year, Herbert has passed for 2,026 yards and 13 touchdowns, against just four interceptions. He boasts an excellent 97.3 passer rating soon.
Today, the Chargers are hosting the 6-2 Detroit Lions, who have emerged as possibly the class of the NFC this season, at SoFi Stadium. The game tips off right now on CBS.
The Lions are -2.5 favorites to win on the road today, according to sports aggregator The Action Network.
