Odell Beckham Jr. has got to be one of the most polarizing and misunderstood players in the past few seasons. He first broke out onto the scene back in 2014 and won Offensive Player of the Year with the New York Giants.

Since then, he has been on a constant road of drama filled with injuries, chemistry issues, and beef with other star players all the way up until 2021. OBJ finally proved all of his doubters wrong by joining the Los Angeles Rams and playing a key role en route to their Super Bowl title.

Even though he tore his ACL for the second time in his seven-season career, the star receiver was off to a hot start with 52 yards and a touchdown. He opted to take the entire 2022 season off to rehab his knee and now is looking to join a new team once again. Your Los Angeles Chargers were listed as a potential landing spot initially but now there seems to be a clear favorite over them.

Aaron Rodgers has taken the NFL by storm after he made it clear that the New York Jets are the team that he wants to be suiting up for next season. With him being a hall-of-fame quarterback and making any franchise he joins a contender, it makes sense why other veteran players looking to win would go that way as well.

OBJ fits into that list perfectly and despite being one of the best receivers in the NFL for multiple seasons, he's never been able to share the field with a passer as talented as Rogers on his squad.

ESPN's Jeff Darlington shared the news of the Jets and OBJ sharing mutual interest.

Good thing for the Chargers, missing out on the former LSU receiver will not hurt them too much. They still have Mike Williams and Keenan Allen, their two best options at the position, and can look to bring in younger prospects as well in the 2023 draft.

Don't lose too much sleep over this one guys.
