Suffering a loss at the hands of the Miami Dolphins in Week 1, the Chargers may be missing some major pieces to their puzzle ahead of their matchup with Tennessee on the way.

On the injury report from Wednesday's practice in LA, three starters could be absent from their pivotal matchup with the Titans due to various ailments effecting each of them.

Failing to register a pressure or sack alongside the rest of his Chargers teammates, coach Brandon Staley mentioned some hamstring soreness for Joey Bosa at the end of their week 1 contest.

Such an injury could have been a reason why Bosa was unable to perform up to his standard as the Bolts' pass rush would sorely miss his services should he be unable to suit up in Week 2.

Eric Kendricks' own condition is concerning as the middle of the field was clearly vulnerable against the Dolphins as various targets found pockets of open space all game long.

Should the middle linebacker also miss the game against the Titans, it could spell disaster for containing DeAndre Hopkins and the rest of Tennessee's receiving corps from an already flammable secondary.

The biggest of these issues though comes in the form of Austin Ekeler's omission from practice due to an ankle injury spanning from the shootout at SoFi last week.

Coming up limping after a run in the game, Ekeler gave way to Joshua Kelley for a big portion of Sunday's affair with Miami.

Though Kelley performed well in his stead, losing the NFL's touchdown leader from each of the past two seasons will be a significant blow to the Chargers' dynamic offense.

With health concerns on all fronts, Los Angeles must do whatever they can to avoid an 0-2 hole to start their 2023 campaign.
