Chargers News: Bolts Party Ahead of Divisional Matchup With Broncos
Your Los Angeles Chargers will play their 16th game of the 2023 season on Sunday. The Bolts will play in Denver against their division rivals, the Broncos. Many Charger fans and analysts thought the Bolts would be competitive and fight for their division or at least a playoff spot.
Instead, the Bolts are eliminated from the playoffs and are playing for pride now. The Chargers are without a head coach or general manager, and in essence, they wasted what could've been in this 2023 season. However, some Bolts players aren't fazed by their shortcomings this season. Instead, Bolts players, star edge rusher Khalil Mack and Nick Williams are living their best lives ahead of their matchup with the Broncos.
The Chargers are playing for nothing; it's the Holiday season, and the season is close to an end. Why not enjoy yourself while you can?
Many might not like this kind of behavior amid their struggles, but it's great to see the team loose and have fun.
Mack has nothing to be ashamed of this season, individually speaking. He's putting up the best numbers as a Charger and arguably the best numbers of his career. The 32-year-old has recorded 47 solo tackles, 15 sacks (fourth in the league), five forced fumbles (tied for second), and 16 tackles for loss. The struggles this season cannot be put on Mack.
It's great to see the vibes following, and hopefully, it translates on the field for Week 17.
