The ending of last season was definitely not one Chargers fans wanted to see. It saw the Chargers blow a 27-0 lead in the second half of the AFC Divisional round, and lose out to the Jaguars on a last-second field goal.

That sparked some conversation about the job security of Chargers Head Coach Brandon Staley, and fans were not too pleased with his coaching performance.

But with the hire of Kellen Moore as the new Offensive Coordinator, could Tom Telesco be sending a message to Staley?

The 34-year old Moore has already had a couple of head coaching interviews, so he's on the radar if anybody is in need of a head coach.

Is it be possible that Telesco hired Moore to be the next in line if Staley doesn't live up to the potential of this team?

With the added weapons this offseason, and hopefully a healthy offensive line, there should be no stopping this team from at least getting to an AFC Championship game.

And while Staley has coached to a respectable 19-15 record over his two seasons with the Chargers, his tenure has been mired with poor decision making and some very questionable play calls.

He's been given the nickname by many "4th and Staley" because he goes for it so often in some weird situations.

Best case scenario is that Staley actually has a great year alongside Kellen Moore, and Moore decides to stay on as the OC long-term.

But if all stays the same, the head coaching seat might get pretty hot for Staley, and his replacement might be right down the hall.
