Chargers News: Brandon Staley Feels Bolts Earned Year’s Most Dominant Win Vs Bears
The Chargers showed that they could compete for a playoff spot as they improved their record to 3-4 with a win over the Bears on Sunday Night Football.
From the opening kickoff, the Bolts had control of the game as they blew out Chicago 30-13.
The team's dominance over the Bears was recognized by everyone involved. After a rough start to the season, the win is exactly what head coach Brandon Staley was looking for this year. Staley revealed his feelings for the dominant win to Eric Smith of Chargers.com
"We've been in search for a game like this. I felt like our guys really earned it in all three phases. From the first practice of the week to the last whistle, I thought that our guys really played together and played the right way that gets you a win like that."

The team's great play was backed by Justin Herbert and Austin Ekeler's posting the best game of their respective season.
Herbert threw for 298 yards and two touchdowns. The quarterback started the game with 15 straight completions.
Ekeler had over 120 all-purpose yards and a touchdown.
Following the game, the team now finds itself 2.5 games behind the Chiefs for the AFC West division lead and two games outside of the seventh seed in the AFC.
Up next for the Bolts are the Jets on Monday Night Football. If the team can play like they did on Sunday night, they will be set for the rest of the season.
In a stacked AFC, the Chargers will need to continue winning big games to ensure they are not left behind when the playoffs are approaching.
