Your Los Angeles Chargers have plenty to look forward to once training camp kicks off in a few weeks and it's going to be great to see how all of the new faces get to learn the system better and continue to build chemistry with the returners. The coaching staff has their work laid out in front of them and the talent is all there, it's just a matter of getting everybody to buy in.

One person LA will likely not have much, if any at all, trouble with is new LB Eric Kendricks. Coming off of a 2022 campaign with the Minnesota Vikings that saw him record 137 combined tackles, he will now look to carry the responsibilities that Drue Tranquill used to before he left in free agency to the Kansas City Chiefs.

Kendricks never backs down from any offensive line and he goes into ever game with the same, aggressive mindset. It is exactly what we want to see from someone who has the ability to change the dynamic of the Bolts' defense and has plenty of experience under his belt.

The Chargers' organization got a golden opportunity to welcome in Kendricks already during OTA's and their recent mandatory minicamp and head coach Brandon Staley has expanded on how he's already making a positive difference.

"I think that you guys have probably seen it, talking to him and his teammates," said Chargers Head Coach Brandon Staley. "He's fitting right in. He's a competitor. He's such a complete player. He has so much experience."

Staley also revealed that for being a veteran, he's always open to any advice.

"It's important that when you're bringing guys in from the outside, that they're going to add your football team," said Staley. "He's done that in a short amount of time. He has a great way about him. He's humble. He's learning, too, at times. But he has just so much experience to draw from."

We look forward to seeing Kendricks suit up this year!
