Chargers News: Brandon Staley Remains Weirdly Optimistic About LA's Season Start
The Chargers are 2-4 and definitely not off to the start that head coach, Brandon Staley, or anyone pictured.
The one "bright" spot with that poor record is that five of their six total games have ended within one possession and Staley knows that and knows he and his players are ready to flip these games in the Bolts' favor.
“I’ve been out there on the field for six games, and I know the types of games that they have been,” Staley said. “I’ve also been a head coach in the NFL for three years. So I know the quality that you need in order to win, and I know that we have it.”

The Chargers have All-Pro talent on both sides of the ball and in every single position group.
Justin Herbert and Keenan Allen have already been deadly this season and with Austin Ekeler back from injury, a more dynamic run game will open everybody up in the passing game.
The defense is led by Derwin James Jr. but Khalil Mack and Joey Bosa make waves in the trenches constantly pressuring the quarterback to get the ball out quickly.
The biggest thing is that mistakes and mental errors tend to take over the Chargers, especially in the second half whether it is poor play calling or untimely penalties that kill drives for the offense or extend them on defense.
The Chargers need to turn it around and this week, against a banged-up Chicago Bears team, is the time for this AFC West team to go on a nice winning run.
The Bolts take on rookie Tyson Bagent and the Chicago Bears in what hopefully will end with the Chargers inching closer to a .500 record.
