Through the first two weeks of the 2023 season, the LA Chargers have continued their agonizing trend of giving away winnable games to both the Dolphins and the Titans for an 0-2 start to the year.

While the coaching staff and front office have been blamed consistently for their decisions with the roster over the past decade, one facet of the Bolts organization now has a finger pointed toward them in the eyes of one analyst.

"Frankly, look all due respect to the Spanos family. Very nice people, always nice when I encounter them. Very helpful organization. Great social media team with their schedule release video, but there's something missing in the organization. And at a certain point it rises above coaching, front office it goes all the way to the top. These teams that find a ceiling that they can't just bust their head through no matter how hard they try. At a certain point it's not just 'Oh well, stuff happens.' At a certain point there's something deeper. We've talked about that in the context of injuries. But with the Chargers, if it's not injuries. it's something else. If it's not that it's something else. If it's not this, it's something else.

The Spanos family has owned the team since the 1984 season, with son Dean taking over for his father Alex when he passed in 2018.

Since moving to Los Angeles and even during their stint in San Diego, talent has come in and out of the door with little success, earning just one Super Bowl appearance that Chargers fans would like to forget.

Even with multiple first seeds in the AFC playoffs and quarterback talent, many teams would kill for, it's time to begin looking toward ownership for the failures within LA's ranks time and time again.
