Chargers News: Division Rival WR’s Legal Charges Dropped Following Dispute with Fan

Adams walks away scott-free

The Los Angeles Chargers are in one of the toughest divisions in the league, the AFC West. Every team in this division will be tough to beat, considering you have the defending champion Kansas City Chiefs, the retooled Denver Broncos, and arguably the Bolts' biggest rival, Las Vegas Raiders.

The division will be a juggernaut once again, and luckily for the Raiders, they'll be with their star WR Davante Adams. Adams was facing assault charges due to shoving a media worker back in October 2022 at Kansas City after an overtime loss to the Chiefs.

But we learned from NFL insider Adam Schefter that the charges had been dropped.

This was the shove that Adams was facing assault charges on.

Adams was upset after the game, and freelance photographer Ryan Zebley was on the wrong end of it.

The 30-year-old immediately apologized for his actions after the game.

After the fall, Zebley had reportedly experienced whiplash, a headache, and a possible minor concussion from the fall.

All that will now be behind Adams, which is unfortunate for all opposing teams, including the Chargers. In all seriousness, Adams is a terrific talent, and we can't wait to see him two times this upcoming season.
