I think it’s safe to say that we are living through one of the most talented and versatile quarterback eras in NFL history.

And I’m well-aware that there have been many dominant stretches for multiple groups of QB’s but when you consider the established names in the league right now along with the up-and-coming stars, it is quite the sight to see.

There’s a reason why Jalen Hurts and Lamar Jackson have already secured the bag along with Joe Burrow and Justin Herbert soon to follow. Even though Herbert hasn’t been to a Super Bowl like some of these other guys, his regular season play has done enough to put him in these conversations.

But just how much better will Herbert be this season? There’s a couple of ways to look at this.

He did not crack 5,000 total yards in his last season like he did in 2021 nor 30 touchdowns but he was playing through numerous injuries and had to deal with the inconsistent Joe Lombardi calling plays.

Now with the addition of a respected OC in Kellen, Last Word on Sports Experts believe that we’ll see a version of the Oregon product like never before as they love what he brings to the table.

"Moore’s offenses in Dallas twice lead the league in total yards in 2019 and 2021 while leading the league in points. He was essential in the development of Dak Prescott working under Jason Garrett and Mike McCarthy. The 34-year-old coach has had his name mentioned frequently in possible head coaching jobs as well."

They are also super excited to see Herbert perform without added defensive pressure thanks to an improved and recovered offensive line.

"They’ll be led by veteran center Corey Linsley who became a vocal leader on the line since joining in 2020. The most proactive addition came in tackle Rashawn Slater out of Northwestern. The 13th overall pick in the 2021 draft became the answer at left tackle earning All-Pro second-team honors. He’ll look to continue that momentum now recovered from the ruptured bicep that prematurely ended his season. The 2022 rookie class brought in Zion Johnson and Jamaree Salyer, both of whom will start alongside Linsley."
