Chargers News: How Los Angeles Fared In Fantasy Football Last Weekend

Keenan Allen put on an all-time fantasy performance
In this story:

Sunday was a good day for Chargers fans as the team took a 28-24 victory over the Vikings for its first win of the season.

Fans of the Chargers could have had an even better day if they had some Bolts players on their fantasy football teams.

With 475 yards of total offense, many Chargers players had big fantasy days.

One of the top fantasy performers in the league this week was Keenan Allen. Catching 18 passes for over 200 yards was good enough to make Allen the best wide receiver in the league in week three.

According to the Sleeper App, Allen recorded 45.5 points.

The biggest beneficiary of Allen's big day was his quarterback, Justin Herbert. Coming into the season as one of the top fantasy quarterbacks, Herbert had his best showing against the Vikings.

The Chargers franchise QB went 40-47 and threw for over 400 yards. On top of that, Herbert also tossed three touchdowns and did not turn the ball over.

His performance was good enough for 29.3 fantasy points.

Although he did leave the game with a season-ending ACL injury, Mike Williams also had a huge fantasy day. He ended up with 25.1 fantasy points.

Before leaving the game in the fourth, Williams had seven catches for 121 yards and a touchdown.

Other notable fantasy performers include receiver Josh Palmer with 14.6 fantasy points and tight end Donald Parham with 14.4.

The biggest disappointment in Fantasy on the Chargers was Joshua Kelly; Fantasy owners expected Kelly to have a big game as Austin Ekeler was injured.

Unfortunately for them, Kelly ended up with 2.7 fantasy points after only rushing for 12 yards.

Bolts players should be in for another big fantasy day as they take on the Raiders in week four.
