Chargers News: How To Watch Critical Game Vs Streaking Jets

Massive game for both sides this week.
In this story:

One of the better games in this weekend's NFL slate (we may be a little biased, but so what?) is the Monday Night Football matchup between the Los Angeles Chargers and the New York Jets. The game will be played at Metlife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey with kickoff scheduled for 5:15 p.m. PT. The game will be broadcast on ESPN for all to see.

The Chargers will be looking to get their second straight victory in primetime, and could even their record at 4-4 on the season. Right now they sit at 3-4, and they can’t afford another slip-up type of game.

"Justin Herbert and the Chargers may present a tougher challenge as they are coming off a convincing 30-13 victory over the Chicago Bears in which Herbert racked up 298 yards and three touchdown passes."

Per Rudi Schuller of DAZN

New York comes in after an ugly win over the New York Giants, and they sit with a record of 4-3 on the season. The Jets will be looking to keep their improbably winning ways going after starting quarterback Aaron Rodgers went out with an injury in Week 1.

This is a massive game for both sides, but it may mean more to the Chargers. Los Angeles needs to have this game in their pocket if they want to stay afloat in the AFC Conference.

If they were to drop it, they would fall to 3-5 on the season, while also seeing another AFC team hold the head-to-head advantage over them. So LA will need to make sure that they come into this game ready to go, unlike what has happened in some of their games this season.

This game will tell us a lot about how the Chargers are built mentally. They have a chance to start salvaging their season, and they can't let it slip away once again.
