Newly-hired Los Angeles Chargers head coach Jim Harbaugh is loving his club's staffing process thus far.

During a new interview with Hannah Storm of ESPN, the former University of Michigan Wolverines head coach indicated just where his latest gig stacks up amongst his prior football jobs -- at this point of the process, anyway.

"It's coming together really well, Hannah," Harbaugh acknowledged. "I would call this... it's the best darn job I've ever had to start out with."

"It starts with [owner] Dean Spanos," Harbaugh noted. "Everybody in the organization is just so, so together and on-mission. He treats people with respect, and that filters down to everybody in the organization. And when you're treated that way, then you give that respect back, and then some. I've noticed, but to start out, this has been the best job I've ever had, [as a] player or coach. And we want to make it that kind of fairy tale end as well."

Los Angeles, of course, hasn't won a playoff round since 2018. Harbaugh is a bit more used to winning, having just added a College Football Playoff championship to his resume this year. During his last (and only) stint in the NFL, he led the San Francisco 49ers to a Super Bowl appearance. Here's hoping he can do likewise with LA.
