Chargers News: Joey Bosa Preaches Optimism Heading Into SNF Despite 2-4 Start
While your Los Angeles Chargers desperately need a win this Sunday night, at least one of their superstars isn't giving up hope.
LA currently holds a 2-4 record but star edge rusher Joey Bosa stated the team's focus is to get back on track and make a playoff push from here on out.
I think everybody wants to turn this around. I think everybody knows we have an opportunity. We have a great team, great players here. But, yeah, we have a bunch of competitors here. I don’t think it matters what the record is, they’re going to come in and work every day and try to make the best of it. So, I was happy with how the morale was this week, for sure.”

The Brandon Staley experience continues to tear fans apart as the Bolts could easily be winless or undefeated based on a few plays in every game they've played in 2023.
Two choices to go for it on fourth down deep into the final quarter could've doomed LA to a 0-4 record before their bye week but the Charger defense stepped up in back-to-back weeks.
Off their bye week both Dallas and Kansas City showed cracks early but the porous zone scheme that the so-called defensive genius head coach insisted on doomed his team to an ugly mark to start 2023.
Playoff odds aren't in LA's favor and a loss to Chicago this weekend would all but seal that fate just before November.
Luckily for LA, they won't face off against dynamic Bears quarterback Justin Fields after he suffered a dislocated thumb on his throwing hand.
That sets up Justin Herbert against a surprising story in Tyson Bagent who won the team's backup job as an undrafted Division II prospect.
Herbert and company aren't interested in continuing the tall tale and will hope to get their season back on track in primetime on Sunday night.
