Chargers News: John Harbaugh Articulates How Ravens Sealed Win With Dominant 4th Quarter
The Los Angeles Chargers dropped their third straight game in a row Sunday night, this time to the Baltimore Ravens. Once again, the Bolts had chances to take the game over but couldn’t make the big play when they needed it most.
The team now drops to 4-7 on the season, and their playoff hopes took a massive hit with the loss.
The defense for the Chargers came to play and held the Ravens down all day. But the offense looked lost the entire game, and in the final quarter, they couldn’t get the team over the hump.
Ravens head coach John Harbaugh spoke about the game after the fact and said that his team put an exclamation point on the matchup in the late stages of the game.
"I thought the fourth quarter was a statement," Ravens coach John Harbaugh said. "We put an exclamation point on the fourth quarter."

Despite four turnovers for the Chargers offense, they were in the game. LA even had the ball down three late in the fourth quarter with a chance to change the narrative. But similar to how this season has gone, things didn’t go their way.
The Ravens defense hardly let up all night, except for one drive. They made quarterback Justin Herbert uncomfortable the entire game, limiting him to just 217 yards with one touchdown and one interception.
Anytime the Bolts' high-powered offense got something going, they turned the ball over. Credit has to go to the Ravens, but LA cost themselves this game.
They had a chance to save their season with a big-time win over the Ravens, but instead, they now fall further down in the AFC standings. Next up for this team is the lowly New England Patriots, and at least they should be able to beat them, right?
