The Los Angeles Chargers are on the final day of their two-day minicamp. After Wednesday, the Chargers will get five weeks off before the start of training camp in late July.

A ton can and will happen in these next five weeks, including the status of Bolts QB Justin Herbert. Herbert and his camp are still seeking a contract extension. Herbert will at least stay for his fifth season as the team picked up his fifth-year option worth $29.5 million; however, more money will come his way.

That will be the Chargers' priority, as they've gone back and forth on the matter, but there could be a scenario in which he doesn't get an extension before the season. If that's the case, how will Justin handle it? Chargers insider Daniel Popper posed the question to Herbert, and he said he wouldn't react to it and go to work regardless of an extension.

According to Popper, in an article back in February, he predicts Herbert will receive a six-year, $295 million contract, $135 million fully guaranteed at signing. Herbert will deserve every single penny of his contract; however, it will look like.

At the end of the day, Herbert will get paid, but he doesn't have the ego that most quarterbacks have. He is as laid back as they come and is the perfect guy for the Bolts in the team's present and future.

One thing is for sure, the Bolts and Justin will agree on something, and he will be here to stay for the rest of his career.
