Chargers News: Keenan Allen Returns to LA to Watch Caleb Williams Throw at USC's Pro Day
Shortly after the Los Angeles Chargers traded WR Keenan Allen to the Chicago Bears, the perennial pass catcher is back in LA for a much different reason. Allen has been spotted at USC's Pro Day to watch Caleb Williams throw.
Our very own Eva Geitheim is on the scene and caught an image of Allen that might make Chargers fans a bit upset.
Allen is in full Bears gear, wearing a windbreaker jacket and hat that sports his brand-new team. While this is not the way that Chargers fans wanted to see their favorite WR return, he is there for one reason.
It is strongly believed that the Bears will be drafting Caleb Williams with the #1 pick, and Allen has returned to LA to see what Williams has in the tank.
Plenty of Chargers brass is in the building as well, as running backs coach Kiel McDonald arriving to presumably watch MarShawn Lloyd workout. Lloyd is predicted to go in the fourth round, and the Bolts are poised to draft him.
Allen may be with another team now, but it is good to see him back in the city that he has called home for his illustrious 11-year career. It's just a shame that he is Bears gear.
