Chargers News: Khalil Mack Opts Out of Pro Bowl Games
Los Angeles Chargers All-Pro edge rusher Khalil Mack will not participate in the 2024 Pro Bowl games.
ESPN's Kris Rhim was the first to report.
New York Jets linebacker Jermaine Johnson will replace Mack.
Mack was named a Pro Bowler for the eighth time in his career earlier this month after a stellar 2023 season. Mack set a new career high with 16 sacks, ranking fourth in the league, while his four strip-sacks were tied for number two.
Rhim also said that Chargers wide receiver Keenan Allen will participate in the games held in Orlando.
Mack had a remarkable season in a season to forget for the Bolts. However, things look up for the Bolt. Hopefully, he will be a part of the new culture and repeat the success he had this season for next season.
