There has been nothing but chatter surrounding what the roster of the Los Angeles Chargers will look like following the conclusion of free agency and the upcoming 2023 draft. We get it, the players are the ones that take the field and make all of the exciting plays that fans love.

However, the coaching staff deserves some love too. They provide the methods behind all of the madness and some of the most historic plays would not be possible if not drawn up by them. Experts have already slated new offensive coordinator Kellen Moore as LA's biggest offseason acquisition, even more so than anybody they brought in or re-signed.

However, the Bolts have not stopped there. The Athletic's Daniel Popper revealed that their front office made more signings and changes regarding the coaching staff on Wednesday.

officially announce a few coaching additions/changes:

• Will Harris hired as assistant secondary coach

• Phil Serchia hired as offensive assistant

• Mike Hiestand moving to defense as front seven specialist

• John Timu promoted to assistant D line coach

Will Harris will make his debut working with an NFL team as he previously helped coach six different organizations at the collegiate level. He spent four years with the University of Washington and the joined Georgia Southern University's staff where he guided them to be one of the top defenses in the nation.

Both Texas A&M and Hutchinson Community College had the pleasure of previously having Phil Serchia on their coaching staff prior to him getting his opportunity with the Chargers. He also has experience himself playing at the college level.

It's great to see the Bolts strengthening their team in this regard and we look forward to seeing the positives that come with it.
