Your Los Angeles Chargers have completed their head coaching hire. Now, their full attention turns toward finding a new general manager.

The Bolts seem to be narrowing down their options, as they've completed a second interview with the Baltimore Ravens director of player personnel Joe Hortiz

The Chargers announced they have completed a second interview with Hortiz on Friday. The only other GM candidate to have a second interview is the New York Giants assistant GM Brandon Brown.

The other candidates the Chargers have interviewed are interim GM JoJo Wooden, Chicago Bears GM Ian Cunningham, Indianapolis Colts assistant GM Ed Dodds, New Orleans Saints assistant GM Jeff Ireland, Buffalo Bills director of player personnel Terrance Gray, and Bears co-player personnel director Jeff Jeff and Dawn Aponte.

The Chargers have options, but they are clearly fond of Hortiz and Brown. Hortiz has worked closely with Ravens head coach and brother of Chargers head coach Jim Harbaugh, John Harbaugh, since 2019. The Ravens have been among the most consistent franchises in the past 15 seasons, and it's no secret why the Chargers are poaching around Baltimore's personnel.

As for Brown, he has experience with the Giants for the past two years. Before that, he was with the Philadelphia Eagles and has spent some time with the Colts.

It's only a matter of time before Horitz, Brown, or any other candidates above get the call to become LA's new general manager. They found their head coach; next is finding the right GM to pair with Harbaugh.
