The Los Angeles Chargers just continue to strengthen their offensive and, more specifically, their options at the WR position.

Their 125th pick in the 2023 NFL Draft rolled around and looking at who they drafted so far, many speculated that they might shoot for a returner or a TE with that pick. However, I guess when you have Justin Herbert, you can never have too many pass catchers and he will fill that hole the team has as a returner.

LA opted to go with yet another prominent WR from TCU by the name of Darius Davis.

"The Chargers select TCU WR/returner Derius Davis in the fourth round, No. 125 overall. Davis fills an immediate need as a returner and is a speedy weapon downfield on offense. He joins TCU teammate Quentin Johnston in L.A."

Also do remember that LA drafted Quentin Johnston back in the first round with their 21st pick. The chemistry between these two rookies is going to be insane, this are the type of stories we live for.

In his final season at TCU, Davis was able to push for over 500 yards, had 42 receptions, and even logged a touchdown. He compiled himself quite the resume prior to the draft.

The entire Chargers' fanbase was all about speed, speed, and more speed heading into the draft. Well, ladies and gentlemen, they have picked up just that with Davis.
