Free agent after free agent are signing with new teams this offseason and the potential matchups for next season just continue to get better. Your Los Angeles Chargers seem to be shifting their focus more towards the draft as Austin Ekeler himself said he doesn't see his contract situation being resolved anytime soon. However, there are a couple of pieces out there still that LA could give a shot.

Ezekiel Elliott was among the best running back in the entire NFL just a couple of seasons ago. However, he has clearly regressed with the Dallas Cowboys since then and ran for 876 yards last season (the lowest mark of his career since Dallas drafted him in 2016).

But there is no denying the success that Elliott can help bring to a team if used correctly. He probably won't be the same All-Pro and leader in yards that he has been before but he can still serve as a productive RB in a reduced role.

The Chargers have been listed as a candidate to bring in the 27-year-old for that very reason. They are currently looking in a number of directions to go with their running back spot and a lot is banking on whether Ekeler stick around or not. LA could look to the draft for some young prospects but Elliott is also right there for the taking.

Odds Checker US currently has the Chargers as a +275 to sign Elliott and the favorite among every other team.

This will be something for fans to keep their eye on and the Chargers could very well pull the trigger to bring in his experience and talent.
