Your Los Angeles Chargers dominated the New York Jets on Monday Night Football en route to a massive 27-6 road victory. The team got their record back to 4-4, and now they have some momentum going forward.

Their defense was the name of the game, and they showed out against New York. It was the key to getting the win, and the Chargers seem to be gaining some steam in their season.

Veteran Eric Kendricks spoke about the impressive showing on defense, and how they have grown as a unit as the season has gone on.

"It's fun to watch. Tuli is the young gun that's come in here, humble as ever. Just ears pinned back, going [all out]. I love it. It's refreshing to me and I'm sure to Khalil and Joey, too," linebacker Eric Kendricks said. "I've seen Joey from afar, I've seen Khalil in my [division]. I know what those boys are capable of. But when you get to meet them, work with them, be friends with them … it becomes more special."

The pass rush for the Bolts has really gotten going over the last two weeks, and it has helped LA get back on track. They racked up eight sacks on the Jets Monday night, and it turned the game in their favor.

The defense as a whole was incredible, limiting the Jets to just six points on the night. While quarterback Zach Wilson isn’t the greatest player in the NFL, he is still capable of having a good day. They shut him down and made his life tough all game long.

"I think they let him out of the pocket once or twice," Kendricks later added. "They did a great job of just keeping him in there and team rushing. The reason why they all had sacks is because they rushed as a team, they rushed as a unit up front. It shows in the stat line as well."

If the Chargers can keep up this level of energy on defense going forward, they will be a dangerous team. We all expected them to be much better than they have shown thus far, and maybe we are finally seeing some glimpses of that hype.
