Chargers News: LA Preparing For Second Interview With Top GM Candidate

The Chargers are set to meet with the Giants' assistant GM for the second time for their vacant GM position.

The head coaching search for your Los Angeles Chargers is fast and furious, removing the spotlight from the general manager search. We reported that Harbaugh is not only in LA but could be bringing over staff from Michigan to join his reign with the Bolts

However, the Bolts are still staying on top of bringing in a new GM. They have yet to make a hire, but it could come to an end soon.

The Chargers will have a second general manager interview with New York Giants assistant general manager Brandon Brown. NFL Networks Tom Pelissero reported on the news.

Brown has spent the last two seasons with the Giants after the team hired Joe Schoen as their GM. Previously, he was with the Philadephia Eagles as the assistant director of pro scouting; then, he was promoted to director of pro scouting. In his last two seasons with the Eagles, he was promoted to the team's director of player personnel in 2021.

He has also worked with the Colts, Boston College, and the Jets earlier in his career.

If all goes well for the 35-year-old, he could land his first big-time job in Los Angeles. Maybe alongside potential head coach hire Jim Harbaugh.
