Chargers News: LA Re-Signs OL Will Clapp
Your Los Angeles Chargers have had a slow off-season, and none of us wondered when/if they'll make a move; well, we got that today.
Chargers offensive lineman Will Clapp will remain a Bolt. According to NFL insider Field Yates, the big man on the line is back to protect Justin Herbert.
Clapp, 27, will be heading into his sixth season as a pro and his second with the Chargers. In his first season with the Bolts, he played in all 17 games and started in three of those games, according to football reference. Overall, he's played in 51 games and started 10 of those.
In his previous four seasons, Will spent it with the team that drafted him, the New Orleans Saints. The 2018 draft pick signed with the Chargers as a free agent last offseason on a one-year deal worth $1.13 million.
We're thrilled to have the big man back and can't wait to see him in the trenches protecting the franchise QB in 2023.
