Chargers News: LA to Hold Draft Party on Day 1
The NFL draft is always a huge part of every team's seasons and arguably the most important part of the offseason. Chargers fans have head the pleasure of seeing their team draft two of their best current players in Justin Herbert and Keenan Allen.
This year serves no different and as free agency winds down after LA's front office made the best of their limited cap space and mainly prioritized resigning some pieces that proved to fit well with the team.
Austin Ekeler most notably requested a trade after turning down multiple extension offers from the team and if he does wind up with a different franchise soon, the Bolts will have a hole at the running back position that they most likely will address in the draft. Everybody wants Bijan Robinson without a doubt but other names in other spots such Jordan Addison and Michael May have also been mentioned as likely candidates.
No matter which direction the team opts to go in, the organization is offering the opportunity for fans to be a part of the draft process.
A party will be held to see what the Chargers elect to with their 21st pick in the first round.
"The Chargers announce that they will hold a free draft party at the Century City mall atrium on April 27, when they are scheduled to make the 21st overall selection. Justin Herbert and Derwin James are scheduled to make appearances."

I expect it be a packed event as Bolts fans come together to see the next franchise cornerstone of LA get called out on the biggest stage.
