The Los Angeles Chargers signed Eric Kendricks during free agency last month. Kendricks will serve as their starting linebacker and replace their 2022 starter, Drue Tranquill.

The All-Pro linebacker is coming back home to California from Clovis and attended UCLA from 2010-2014. This will be Eric's second team in the NFL after eight seasons with the Minnesota Vikings. A new team means a new jersey number, and the Chargers revealed what jersey number he'll don in 2023.

The 31-year-old wore the number 6 for the Bruins and will do the same for the Bolts. The UCLA alum went on the Up & Adams show with Kay Adams and explained the meaning behind his number 6.

Kendricks is teaming up with new teammate Dustin Hopkins and his wife Gabby to support the Well Foundation, which supports those with special needs. Kendricks said in the piece above that Hopkin's son is on the autism spectrum and said he couldn't be happier to spread the cause and awareness.

Hopkins donned the number 6 in his first season as a Charger in 2021. It's great to see Kendricks back in LA, repping his jersey number for a good cause and supporting a good cause, as well.

LA is excited to have a player like Kendricks and, more importantly, a genuine person like the linebacker on their squad.
