OTA's have begun for the Los Angeles Chargers, meaning football season is upon us. We still have a little ways ahead, but for the most part, the team is set, and the Bolts have a big 2023 season ahead of them.

The Chargers have some huge expectations for this season, and it will all start in August. The NFL shortened the preseason from four to three games, and in one of those three games, they'll take on NFC South opponent New Orleans Saints. However, just before they take on the Saints on August 20th, they'll get a little taste of them in a joint practice.

The Chargers, 10-7 in 2022, will take on the New Orleans Saints, 7-10 2022 for their second preseason game. LA played the Saints during the 2022 preseason finale. Although the Chargers had a good 2022 campaign, both teams will look to improve mightily in 2023.

Something crazy always happens in a joint practice during the preseason, so it's fair for us to expect some fireworks to pop off in this one. It's a competitive game, filled with competitive players, so best believe there will be some chirping going on and some hands being flown. Overall, it'll be a great chance at facing other NFL talent to get ready for the season, and it should benefit the Bolts.
