Chargers News: NFL Insider Explains Why She Refuses To Take LA Seriously

There seems to be a real problem out in Los Angeles.
In this story:

Entering the new NFL season, there was hope that things would be different this year for the Los Angeles Chargers. They brought in a new offensive coordinator to help with their lapses on offense from last season, and there was also hope that head coach Brandon Staley had finally learned from his previous mistakes.

But fast forwarding to the present, and things feel very much familiar in regards to the Bolts. They sit with a record of 2-3 and now have a matchup against the defending champion Kansas City Chiefs on the road. Things are suddenly looking a bit dire.

Their most recent loss, a 20-17 defeat on Monday Night Football against the Dallas Cowboys after coming off a bye week, may have told us all we needed to know.

"Monday’s performance probably wasn’t what Chargers offensive coordinator Kellen Moore was hoping for in a revenge game against his former boss, Dallas’s Mike McCarthy. Moore’s Chargers offense scored just 17 points in the loss to the Cowboys, and when it mattered most late in the fourth quarter, L.A. couldn’t handle Dallas’s pressure, and quarterback Justin Herbert threw an interception that killed their attempt at a game-winning drive."

It seems that each year there is always something working against this team. They haven't been able to live up to the hype that surrounds them, and it has been widely frustrating to watch play out.

"Until the Chargers can win a big game against a good opponent this season—next week against the Chiefs would be a good start—it’s hard to take Staley’s team seriously."

Per Lindsay Jones of The Ringer

They continuously fall short against the better teams, but find a way to win the games they should...most of the time. It could be the coaching that is the issue, but whatever it is, something needs to change quickly.
