Chargers News: NFL Rival Considers This LA Star One Of League's Top Trash Talkers

However, since both players no longer play for the Chargers, it appears a new name has emerged as not only the biggest trash talker for the Chargers but one of the top trash talkers in the NFL.
In an anonymous player poll conducted by The Athletic, Keenan Allen has now earned himself a reputation in the league as one of the biggest trash talkers in the NFL.
"And don’t for a second think trash talk is limited to just defensive players. The Los Angeles Chargers’
Keenan Allen
, one of the NFL’s most consistent wideouts, is known to have a thing or two to say during games. “Big-time s— talker,” one player said. “It’s nonstop.”
Per The Athletic
As shown above, Allen will work you til the end and even if he beats you, he is going to let you know.
While Allen's name was not actually listed on their list, he would fall into the category of "Other" which makes up 18.6% of trash talkers in the NFL.
At the top of the list is Detroit Lions safety C.J. Gardner-Johson at 24.6%. Followed by Gardner-Johnson is Miami Dolphins cornerback Jalen Ramsey at 16.2% then Philadelphia Eagles defensive end Brandon Graham at 8.6%.
While you could argue that some people don't deserve to trash talk unless their performance on the field shows it, Allen is just that.
In 10 years, Allen is second career receptions (879) and yards (10,298) behind long-time Chargers tight end great Antonio Gates (955, 11,841).
Once it's all said and done for Allen, he will without a doubt go down as the greatest Chargers wide receiver of all time and could find his name in the NFL Hall of Fame.
