Chargers News: Offensive Line Turnaround Helps Preserve Justin Herbert Vs Chicago
Your Los Angeles Chargers came away from their Sunday Night Football matchup against the Chicago Bears with a big 30-13 win and a 3-4 record heading into Week 9.
The Bolts were winning at all facets of the game, none bigger than the performance of the offensive line.
"We got back to our fundamentals," right tackle Trey Pipkins III said after the Bolts gave up five sacks last week to the Chiefs. "We know if we give No. 10 the time then he can do some absolutely ridiculous things. It was good work all around."

The Chargers were able to keep their quarterback, Justin Herbert, clean not allowing a single sack the entire game and only allowing two QB Hits.
This is just one game removed from the Chiefs' loss that saw Herbert sacked five times during the Chiefs' division win in Arrowhead Stadium.
The clean pocket allowed for Herbert to make plays, and he made them.
Throwing for 298 yards and a trio of touchdowns Herbert was able to lead 6 scoring drives against the Bears.
LA's offensive line was also able to provide some key downfield blocking to open up the scoring on a 39-yard screen to Austin Ekeler who went for a touchdown.
The Chargers will fly across the country to take on the New York Jets who are 4-3 coming off a big overtime win against the New York Giants.
The Jets have a big pass rush that just recorded 4 sacks against the Giants while registering eight QB Hits.
A big matchup for the Chargers is ahead and the offensive line will need to have another great game that allows their star field general to make plays.
