As the Bolts have remained fairly inactive on the trade market over the past couple of seasons, their stash of draft picks is much bigger than that of other squads around the league.

Both for the 2024 and the 2025 NFL Drafts, the Chargers have all of their own picks as well as one additional 7th-round pick this year from the J.C. Jackson trade.

With 15 picks in the next two drafts, there's a lot to look forward to, both from a drafting perspective and a potential trade perspective.

Given that the Chargers are quite a few pieces away from contending, it wouldn't be surprising to see them package away some picks to get some win-now help for Justin Herbert, as with him at the helm and Harbaugh calling the shots, the team's title window begins now.

It's also worth noting that some of the hardest positions to draft well – quarterback and left tackle the Bolts are set at. To that end, they can allocate more assets to positions of need rather than taking gambles at those positions in the draft, which nearly half the teams in the league will be doing this spring.

Outside of possibly shuffling within rounds, it's hard to imagine the Bolts moving off anything more than Day 2 picks but don't be shocked if they do as the new regime gets more aggressive.
