The Los Angeles Chargers continue their spree of retailing key, young talent as it was just announced that tight end Donald Parham will be returning to the team this season. He is just 25-years-old and has bee with LA since 2020.

The news was first reported by the NFL's Jeremy Fowler, who confirmed the deal from Parham's agent,

"Tight end Donald Parham is re-signing with the #Chargers, agent Safarrah Lawson confirms. Another option for Justin Herbert in the fold," said Fowler.

Parham only suited up for six games for the Chargers in 2022 following one of the scariest injuries of the season. However, in that time he was able to accumulate ten receptions with 130 yards. He looks to take care of business this coming season and prove to the front office that he is a top-tier tight ed when healthy.

Standing at 6'8, Parham has been able to get a clear view of the ball over his defenders and develop some nice chemistry with Justin Herbert. It was unclear whether or not LA would bring him back with multiple players at his position being available in the open market and in the upcoming draft, but it looks like they were pleased with his previous play.

Parham also took part in the XFL during its reboot and was one of the standout names across the entire league. His performances in those games were the main reason the Chargers originally brought him in and he has continued impressing during his time with the Bolts.

Numerous fans took to Twitter to celebrate especially considering that they didn't think the Chargers would bring him back.
