In this story:

Whenever NFL season rolls around, it is a given that some of the most passionate, loudest, and most spontaneous fans will dust off their childhood jerseys and support their time the whole way through. Unlike other major league sports in America, football season only lasts for a maximum of 21 games and that only happens if a team is in the wild card and also makes it to the Super Bowl. Every team is guaranteed 17 games at the least and fanbases show out for every single one.

Then you must take into consideration that there is still a good amount of franchises that have not had the pleasure of hoisting a championship trophy in their history. Not every team is the Patriots or the Steelers and out of the current 32 squads in the NFL, a total of 12 of them are still looking for their first Super Bowl victory.

Therefore, it makes sense that fans get pretty frustrated when front offices fail to improve their team time and time again. However, it appears that fans of the Los Angeles Chargers have been able to keep their composure during this year's free agency.

Compiled by Betting.com, the Chargers' fanbase were voted number 22 on a list that ranked the most angry NFL fans by teams since free agency started.

I've spent a good amount of time on Chargers Twitter these past few weeks and I can say this does look pretty accurate. By no means has LA's free agency period been perfect but, considering the cap situation they were in prior, I feel like fans are just happy with the signings they've been able to make.

In fact, most of the recent activity is the fanbase just hoping something is worked out with Austin Ekeler soon even if he has to get traded. The people appreciate what they've done since he joined us but they also want to see him get the money he deserves. That does not sound toxic or negative to me at all !
