In this story:

Despite losing to the Dolphins in Week One, many Chargers players had very good fantasy days. As the team put up 36 points., many offensive players had big games.

With more than 433 yards of total offense, the Chargers had multiple players put up more than 20 points in full PPR fantasy leagues.

Austin Ekeler led the charge for most fantasy points on the Chargers. With 117 yards on the ground and an additional 47 yards through the air and a touchdown, Ekeler had 26.4 fantasy points.

He was the seventh-highest-scoring player in fantasy this week.

Following Ekeler for most points on the Bolts is his quarterback Justin Herbert. The Oregon product threw for 228 yards and a touchdown and also scored a touchdown on the ground.

Despite only having one touchdown in the air, Herbert was the third-highest-scoring touchdown in the league by scoring 20.92 points. Only Packers Jordan Love and Patriots Mac Jones had more points.

Coming in third for the most points for the Bolts was Ekeler's backup Joshua Kelley. It's very rare that two runningbacks are in the top three of a team's top fantasy performers.

Kelley made a statement as he came out and rushed for 91 yards and touchdown. He finished the day with 15.1 fantasy points.

One fantasy player that had a rough day for the Chargers was the team's defense. Giving up 36 points and over 500 yards of offense is not a good recipe for fantasy.

The Bolts' defense was one of the worst in the league with -5 fantasy points. If they didn't pick off Tua Tagavailoa and recover a fumble, the fantasy score could have been much worse.

The Chargers will look to have a bounce-back game in week two not only for the team but for fantasy owners. Keenan Allen and Mike Williams did not show their full potential.

The team's defense is also poised for a better game as they take on the Titans.
