Despite Ongoing Talks With Chargers, Jim Harbaugh Will Interview Again With NFC Team
Yesterday we reported that Jim Harbaugh is not only close to landing a deal with the Los Angeles Chargers, but he would reportedly bring over Michigan DC Jesse Minter and his son Jay, who is the special teams coordinator and safeties coach.
Despite what appears to have been a done deal, Harbaugh is not ruling out other options.
For the second time, Harbaugh will interview with the Atlanta Falcons today. Bleacher Reports' NFL insider Jordan Schultz was among the first to report.
Harbaugh met with the Los Angeles Chargers on Tuesday for the second time, and talks between the two were promising. NFL insiders like NFL Networks Mike Garafolo said the Bolts and Harbaugh are "in striking distance" to getting a deal done.
Just because he's meeting with the Falcons doesn't mean the reports on the Bolts were wrong.
The Chargers want him, the Falcons want him, and Michigan is continuing to do all they can to keep him. Harbaugh is the best head coach in the market, so it's no surprise everyone is in on him.
He's changed the culture at Michigan. The Chargers and Falcons want a taste of winning when it matters. That's what Harabigh would bring to any team he goes to. This will be an exciting week as news continues to develop.
