In the world of professional football, nobody looks at a 300 lb man and bats an eye especially if they are a lineman. Players of that position typically weigh in at an average of around 315 lbs.

Russell Okung, who logged three seasons with the Los Angeles Chargers in 2017-2019, was no exception to this. Starting at offensive tackle for most of his career, Kung made sure to maintain the body of a tank and was listed at 310 lbs for the majority of his playing days.

However, three years after he announced his retirement from the NFL in 2020, Okung now has taken to Twitter and revealed his new physique. He looks quite slimmer to say the least.

To put it into perspective as to just how incredible this transformation is, take a look at this picture of Okung during his time with the Bolts.

The padding and uniform obviously make him look even bigger but there is a clear difference between then and now. He has been working nonstop since he stepped away from the game and my guess is that he wanted to drop the weight in order to maintain a heavier lifestyle.

Okung definitely did Jos job well thanks to the weight. He was a part of those early 2010's Seattle Seahawks squads and actually helped them win a Super Bowl in 2014.

Fans reacted to Okung's surprise on Twitter.
