After just two seasons with the Los Angeles Chargers, offensive lineman Storm Norton has found a new home with the Dallas Cowboys. The 28-year-old suited up for 12 games with LA in 2022 and played a reserve role.

The news was first broke by Norton's sports agency JL Sports.

Norton has had an up-and-down career thus far in the NFL. He struggled to stay on multiple teams' practice squads such as the Minnesota Vikings, Arizona Cardinals, and Detroit Lions. He also had a short stint in the XFL before he became a Charger.

Despite being listed as a starter for 15 games last season, Norton was a healthy scratch for a large part of 2022. His snap percentage went down significantly from 90 percent in 2021 to just 10 percent in 2022.

The coaching staff of the Chargers just didn't see Norton as beneficial to their tea, nor did they think he could help protect Justin Herbert from getting hit. Therefore, he found himself on the bench majority of the season and now will be moving on. He was promising when first coming into the league and could potentially tap into more of his talent in Dallas.

He played college football for the University of Toledo and led his team to boast a top-20 offensive line in the nation his junior year. Norton was also named first-team All-MAC and appointed part of the AP All-Bowl team.

The specific details of his 1-year deal with the Cowboys are currently unknown. It is safe to say fans weren't too heartbroken by his decision.
