Chargers News: How Los Angeles Hopes To Capitalize On Bye Week
With your Los Angeles Chargers enjoying their bye week so early in the season, it gives them a little bit of perspective on how things have started. They sit with a .500 record after narrowly escaping with wins in their previous two games, against the MinnesoLas Vegas Raiders.
They want to use this bye week to improve on things and make sure that they come out stronger moving forward. Head coach Brandon Staley spoke on this, and how they will need to go about things the rest of the way, as Joe Reedy of The Associated Press reports.
“Maybe a little bit more think-tank of what we want our team to look like here in the weeks after the bye, and then projecting to the end of the season, instead of saying, ‘Hey, I have all of this assessment for like half the season, where I have eight or nine games of inventory to look at,'" Staley said. "We have a much shorter inventory to go by.”

The Chargers can’t afford any more hiccups, especially out of the gates of the bye week. They take on the Dallas Cowboys and defending champion Kansas City Chiefs in back-to-back weeks, so the pressure is on.
They know they can play better, and will need to moving forward. These two games will dictate a lot for this team, and where they will be in a few weeks.
Even some members of the Bolts have been frustrated by their lack of consistency because they know they are better than what they have done so far. Wide receiver Joshua Palmer weighed in on this.
“It’s quite frustrating, honestly. I know we can blow every team out on every play. But we like to put on a show,” wide receiver Josh Palmer said.

The Chargers have so much talent on their roster, but they just haven’t been able to live up to the hype that has surrounded them so far. This bye week was a chance to reflect on things and improve them the rest of the way.
They are lucky to be sitting with a record of 2-2, and they know they can be better than what the record shows. Things need to change quickly for them, and the hope is that they use this time to start a big winning streak for the rest of the season.
