The Los Angeles Chargers reached far and wide for their new head coach, and by all indications, they got the right guy. Jim Harbaugh is the new coach for the Bolts and boy, what a hire it is.

Harbaugh will enter L.A. as a winner and intends to keep it that way. The only thing that matters to Harbaugh is winning, and he made it clear to the NFL on CBS crew.

Harbaugh joined the crew before the AFC Championship game on the field and explained why he left Michigan to become the new head coach for Los Angeles.

“I love Michigan, but I love the NFL too. There’s no Lombardi Trophy in college football.”

The Lombardi trophy is the only one missing for Harbaugh and, ironically, for the Chargers.

Harbaugh completed his quest for a national championship in college, and he did so this past season with Michigan. The next challenge eludes Harbaugh, and he's looking forward to it.

All eyes will be on Harbaugh and the Chargers as they look to finally avenge all their demons. "Chargering" is still a thing, now more than ever, and the 60-year-old, along with Justin Herbert and the Spanos family, will do all they can to get that monkey off their back.

As he stated, it won't be easy, but that's what will make the reward more special. It was an opportunity Harbaugh couldn't pass up, and hopefully, he brings home the Lombardi he so desperately desires.
