Joey Bosa Added to Chargers Injury Report Ahead of Huge Clash With Detroit Lions

Wednesday's one player injury report was too good to be true.

The Los Angeles Chargers are getting set for a huge matchup against the 6-2 Detroit Lions this Sunday, and on Thursday, they saw their injury report double in size.

Yes, that's a bit of hyperbole, considering on Wednesday, Charger fans were dealt arguably the greatest Week 10 injury report in team history that only saw QB Justin Herbert on there listed as a full participant.

However, on Thursday, Herbert was alone no more, as star defensive end Joey Bosa was added as a "DNP" on the report as he's dealing with an illness.

The fact that he's just dealing with an illness is a good sign, as with three days to go until Sunday, he should be good to play. However, that obviously depends on the severity of the illness.

Additionally, the Chargers have to hope that it's not too contagious, as the last thing they want is a bug to go around the team ahead of Sunday's game.

The good news is Bosa is not dealing with an injury, but we'll have to continue to monitor this situation to ensure Bosa is able to go on Sunday, and his teammates don't catch whatever he has.
