All across social media, we see calls for star players to be rid of the poor teams that they play on. It's a common theme, especially in the NFL, and yet one player seems to get lost in the mix.

Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Keenan Allen gets forgotten amongst the calls to be rid of the bad team he plays on, and it's because of how underrated he is. Despite being in the NFL for 11 years, including this season, Allen still falls flat in terms of being a top receiver.

But he is consistently one of the best in the NFL each season, and he deserves to be rid of the Chargers team that he plays for. In five of his last seven seasons, Allen has put up at least 1,000 yards.

He remains one of the best pass catchers in the game today and is having arguably his best season yet. Through 10 games, Allen has put up 83 catches for 1,011 yards and seven touchdowns.

While the Chargers have made the playoffs a few times with Allen on the roster, they haven't done much once they have gotten there. And in the years that they haven't, it's been ugly for the Bolts.

They are consistently finding new ways to lose games, and quite honestly, it's impressively bad. Allen deserves to be on a team with a realistic chance to win a Super Bowl, and the ironic part is that he has a quarterback who could do just that.

But coaching and a poor defense have held this team back, year after year. Maybe after this season, the Bolts will finally understand that, or maybe they won't.

Either way, Allen needs to leave. He has one more year left on his deal, and he should either ask out or wait until he hits free agency then jump ship.

Allen has been the staple of this Chargers offense for years, and it hasn't gotten him anywhere in terms of team success. It's time for him to be free of this Bolts team because he deserves better.
