NFL Insider Picks Chargers To Upset Chiefs In Arrowhead This Sunday

Can LA pull off the win this weekend?

One of the best games of the weekend in the NFL comes from Arrowhead Stadium when your Los Angeles Chargers face off against the Kansas City Chiefs. These two teams always play each other hard, no matter what the records are.

LA comes into this game after a tough loss to the Dallas Cowboys, and their record sits at 2-3. It's a massive game for them, and for AFC West divisional implications as well.

Most people aren't buying what the Bolts are selling any longer, but NFL analyst Jeremy Fowler seems to be going with the Bolts in the game.

“Chargers (+5.5) over Chiefs. This line is a bit curious given the Chargers’ recent success at Arrowhead, winning two of the past three there, along with the Chiefs’ slow offensive start by their standards. Los Angeles clearly isn’t intimidated by playing in Kansas City. The Chiefs’ defense is among the league’s most stout, but the Chargers are getting healthy at the right time. And quarterback Justin Herbert has been efficient under new offensive coordinator Kellen Moore, completing 71% of his passes and throwing just one interception.”

Per Jeremy Fowler of ESPN

I actually am going with Fowler on this one. I believe that the Chargers will go on the road and take down the defending champions.

Kansas City hasn't looked overly great so far this season, and they are very beatable right now. While reigning Super Bowl MVP quarterback Patrick Mahomes is still the best quarterback in the NFL, the rest of the team hasn't played up to par.

LA isn't scared of this Chiefs team, and they will be ready to go after they blew an opportunity against Dallas. It would be the most Chargerist of Chargers moments to go into Arrowhead and win this game while everyone is down on them.

The Chargers know how big of a game this is, and the difference between going 3-3 and 2-4 is huge. They need to win this game if only to keep themselves afloat in the AFC wild-card hunt.
