Chargers News: Taylor Swift Providing Major Boost To LA Opponent Travis Kelce's Output

Trying to impress Swift, I suppose.

With an absurd 158 receiving yards halfway through the third quarter in today's contest, a major trend is noticeable when it comes to Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce's performances, as CBS broadcasters noticed during today's ongoing matchup against your Los Angeles Chargers.

When Taylor Swift is in attendance at a Kelce contest, Kelce is averaging 99 receiving yards per game.

When Swift is not in attendance, Kelce is averaging 46.5 yards per game.

Now, to be fair, the difficulty of matchups that Swift has attended, as opposed to the ones she hasn't, definitely account for a portion of the production differential, as the Bears, Chargers, and Broncos, all have some of the worst defenses in the league.

That said, we can probably assume that Kelce is trying to put on a show for Swift, as he doesn't want to waste her attendance of his games.

The Chiefs as a whole have also been far better with Swift in attendance, as they're undefeated. The one game they've lost thus far this season, against the Lions in Week 1, was played without Kelce or Swift. Perhaps Swift is an even better omen than we realize.

Expect him to continue dominating this contest against the Chargers.
