Given how successful the Kansas City Chiefs have been during his tenure—even before quarterback Patrick Mahomes's arrival—Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce presumably has little familiarity with the horror genre.

Starting in the fall, that will no longer be the case.

Kelce has been cast in the forthcoming FX horror series Grotesquerie, Nellie Andreeva and Katie Campione of Deadline reported Tuesday evening and castmate Niecy Nash-Betts appeared to confirm on Instagram.

"Guys, guess who I am working with on Grotesquerie," Nash-Betts said on Instagram.

Ryan Murphy, the mind behind Glee, American Horror Story and other shows, is overseeing the series.

Kelce has been dating musician Taylor Swift since the summer of 2023, a relationship that has elevated him and Kansas City as a team to a new stratosphere of celebrity. In February, he and the Chiefs won their second straight Super Bowl 25-22 over the San Francisco 49ers in overtime.
