How to Watch KC Chiefs vs. Minnesota Vikings: NFL Week 5 Streaming, Betting Odds, Preview
Coming off a close win over the New York Jets, the Kansas City Chiefs are seeking their fourth victory in a row with a Sunday matchup against the Minnesota Vikings on the horizon.
Despite the host team's 1-3 record on the year, Minnesota is likely a better team than it appears to be on the surface. Veteran quarterback Kirk Cousins has an embarrassment of weapons at his disposal, including All-Pro wide receiver Justin Jefferson, rookie wideout Jordan Addison and steady tight end T.J. Hockenson. On the other side of the ball, Brian Flores coaches an aggressive unit that can give opposing signal-callers some trouble if they don't react well to the pressure he helps dial up.
For Kansas City, things haven't been perfect through four games but Andy Reid's club continues to respond to adversity each and every week. Following a narrow loss to the Detroit Lions in the season opener, Steve Spagnuolo's defense has worked in conjunction with Patrick Mahomes and company on offense to do enough to create and maintain a lead in the AFC West. The Chiefs' goals go beyond that, however, and even inter-conference battles matter once final records are tallied up for the year. The visitors understand what's at stake in Week 5.
