Kansas City Chiefs Announce 2023 Training Camp Schedule
The Kansas City Chiefs have had a busy week, as the team moved on from organized team activities (OTAs) with a three-day mandatory minicamp spanning from Tuesday to Thursday, then a Thursday night red carpet event and ceremony to welcome in the team's Super Bowl LVII championship rings. The team isn't done, though, as another piece of news came out on Friday.
Per an official announcement from the team, dates and a schedule have been set for 2023 Chiefs Training Camp presented by Mosaic Life Care at Missouri Western State University in St. Joseph, Missouri.
Kansas City's 13th camp at Missouri Western State University, for the public, is slated to start with open practices beginning on Sunday, July 23 and conclude on Thursday, August 17. The Chiefs note that "all training camp practices will be free of charge to the public" unless the club notes it in its schedule or elsewhere online. There is a slated $5 admission fee for opening day on July 23, as well as Saturday the 29th and Saturday, August 5. The 2023 training camp website is where fans who plan on attending practice can secure their tickets in advance (tickets must be reserved in that fashion).
Chiefs season ticket holders will get the first chance to reserve training camp tickets, with that window opening at 10:00 a.m. local time on Wednesday, June 21. The general public will have their access windows opened 24 hours later. There is a six-ticket maximum for one individual to reserve for a practice, and a single fan is permitted to reserve tickets for only three separate practices.
Missouri Western is charging a $5 fee for on-site parking (per vehicle), with two specific season ticket member days featuring free parking for those who are relevant to that promotion. The Chiefs' release adds that pre-purchasing parking can be done right in the same virtual suite as the ticket reservation process.
