The Kansas City Chiefs' legendary pairing of Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce is known for scoring touchdowns and winning big games on the field. This week, it was announced that the two NFL superstars are broadening their horizons for a huge opportunity off the field.

Made known on Thursday, Mahomes and Kelce are investing partners in a local '1587 Prime' restaurant.

In an article on Good Morning America, it's explained that the Noble 33 hospitality group is launching the Mahomes-Kelce restaurant that honors the players' combined jersey numbers of 15 and 87. Noble 33 co-founder Tosh Berman explained to GMA just how fruitful teaming up with two of football's biggest names can be.

"Working with Patrick and Travis has been incredible. As longtime supporters of our other restaurants, we worked together to combine their favorite elements of those experiences into what we developed for 1587 Prime," Tosh Berman, co-founder of Noble 33 told "Good Morning America" exclusively. "They are natural hosts and can't wait to bring a unique modern American steakhouse experience to Kansas City."

Noble 33 is a global hospitality group that has restaurants all around the United States in high-profile cities such as Scottsdale, Las Vegas, New York, Los Angeles and elsewhere. More dining opportunities are headed Kansas City's way, with the same being said for Houston and Miami. Additionally, there are Noble 33 restaurants in Toronto and London for international consumers to experience.

Via a statement, Mahomes and Kelce chimed in on the new business venture.

"Travis and I have become frequent visitors of Noble 33 restaurants in other cities so it only made sense to bring something special to our own community in Kansas City," Mahomes said in a statement. "We're excited to be a part of this journey with Noble 33 to create a one-of-a-kind dining experience, and what better place to start than our very own, Kansas City," Kelce added.

The restaurant, set to open early in 2025, will be hosted in the Loews Kansas City Hotel. GMA details that it will occupy almost 10,000 square feet on two floors and feature "hyper-subtle nods" to what Mahomes and Kelce have done in their careers thus far. Private dining rooms, a wide assortment of wines, a meat display and more will be featured.

During their travels over the years, both players have frequented Noble 33 restaurants. That familiarity and endorsement, as Mahomes alluded to, factored into their recent decision to jump into the "ultimate experimental dining destination."

This isn't the first time Mahomes and Kelce have joined forces in the business world. One of their recent investments was in Formula 1 team Alpine Racing LTD just last October. Given their longstanding presence in the local community and Kelce recently doubling down on his wish to keep playing despite being in the twilight of his career, 1587 Prime may not be their last combo effort.
