Colts Draft Yet Another Big Cornerback, Jaylon Jones

The Indianapolis Colts have selected Texas A&M cornerback Jaylon Jones with the 221st overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, giving them yet another big-bodied pass defender.

The Indianapolis Colts have selected Texas A&M cornerback Jaylon Jones in the seventh round of the 2023 NFL Draft, with the 221st overall pick.

Jones (6'2", 200, 21 years old), is the third cornerback the Colts have drafted this week, joining JuJu Brents (6'3", 202) and Darius Rush (6'1", 196) as a group of big-bodied pass defenders.

Jones is athletic with plenty of experience as a three-year starter for the Aggies ever since his true freshman season.

Aside from the rookies, other corners on the Colts roster are Kenny Moore II, Isaiah Rodgers Sr., Dallis Flowers, Tony Brown, Darrell Baker Jr., Kevin Toliver II, and David Vereen.
